FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Please reach me at contact@flourishgvl.com or 864-305-7077 if you cannot find an answer to your question.

  • That depends…how often do you want to feel great? The frequency of your massage sessions will depend on your individual needs and preferences. Some clients come in weekly, while others come in monthly or as needed. I personally recommend at least 1 session every 1-2months. For therapeutic work, such as deep tissue, I recommend having at minimum a week between sessions.

  • GREENVILLE LOCATION: Yes, there is a parking garage attached to the South Ridge building. You can access the garage from University Ridge or Wakefield Street. Parking for retail is on the first floor/ground level only. Additional parking is available around the complex and across the street at Next (University Ridge).

    ANDERSON: Yes, there is plenty of free parking in the lot. Just park and walk right in!

  • GREENVILLE: From the parking garage (ground level): Head towards the doors nearest the University Ridge entrance of the garage. Enter either door for the stairs or elevator and go to the 2nd floor. As you exit the elevator, follow the hallway until you reach the courtyard. From the courtyard, Mix Salon Studios is in the back right corner. When you enter the building, take the first hallway to the right and follow the signs to Studio 105.

  • In short, it means “Integrating“ various modalities into the massage session. This method is about assessing the client‘s situation or needs and using the appropriate tool/technique.

  • Swedish is the most widely known type of massage. It uses long, flowing strokes to induce relaxation and soothe muscles. Pressure ranges from light to firm.

    Deep Tissue, I really don’t like this term because it is often misused. It is meant to refer to the location of muscles (think of working Deep muscles versus Superficial), BUT it is often mistaken for just being a really firm massage.

    Clients usually request “Deep Tissue Massage” for 2 reasons;

    1. They want an effective rehabilitative,, pain relieving massage. THIS I can do! I utilize various techniques that will address your muscles all while aiming to work pain free.

    ……and 2. Well, they just want a painful, push hard just for the sake of it experience. THIS, I will NOT do and would recommend you work with a different therapist.

  • Though it’s appreciated, I don't expect tips. You can always support my business by referring your friends or leaving a review.
